Why Is Block Ice So Good?
Block ice is awesome because it seriously lasts for days in the eski. The best part is that you can easily smash it up too by dropping it, or hitting with a hammer! You've got the option for whatever your needs are. We have customers keeping it whole, creating slurries for fishing with salt water and smashing them up to keep those beers cold!
Are They Stackable?
Our Ice Block Trays are stackable (Up to 2 high when filled with water) as each tray features a lid that compresses around the rim. You must ensure they are filled to the 90% mark and the lid is completely sealed.
Whilst we do recommend waiting for each Ice tray to partially freezer over, with a bit of balancing you can get our XXL Ice Trays to stack 2 high when filled with water. Or you can easily set two vertically and another horizontally (Like the letter H) for a much sturdier base! Once frozen you can continue adding more! Please practice this outside of your freezer first to avoid any spillages.
If you wanted to stack higher than two trays, you will need to wait for the bottom two to freeze partially adding more to your stack. Usually our trays freeze between 12 - 24 hours so you can add them the next day.
How Many Ice Block Trays Do I Need?
If using for general purposes we recommend that however many bags of ice you usually purchase, purchase the equivalent amount of our ice trays.
If using for ice baths, dependent on the time of year, the quantity of Ice Trays Blocks you will require varies. During Winter, the starting temperature of your ice bath will already be quite low if it's left outdoors so you'll likely only need between 3 - 6 to get that temperature down nice and chilly! During Summer, the more the better!
For beginners we recommend our 'Starter Kit' which uses 3 ice trays and generates 16.5KG of ice!
For more frequent users we recommend our 'Intermediate Kit' which uses 6 ice trays and generates 33KG of ice!
For advanced users we recommend our 'Ice Man Kit' which uses 9 ice trays and generates 49.5KG of ice.
What Are The Ice Block Trays Made From?
Our unique, one of a kind Ice Block Trays are made from high quality silicone. The top rim of the design also features a reinforced stainless steel frame making it super easy to carry around once filled. These aren't like the cheaper copycats you'll find on Temu!

I have done two trips now, once with one block and just now with two blocks in a 60lt eskie Fours days an each time and when I’ve got home the blocks have barely melted. For clarity both times I added informal ice before I left and added a bag mid trip. Only complaint is when you go to drain water after a big night the slurry freezes around the locks instead of being able to drain off and you can’t fit as many beers in the morning after
Purchased 2 trays, great for our fishing eskies, the blocks last ages and are easy to dispense and refill, the only thing is the lids sometimes don’t stay on well at the ends I think they need to wrap under the lip a little more, but that’s minor, very good product will be buying more
It gets expensive always buying bags of ice to cool our ice bath so this is a game changer. They’re so convenient to fill and stack in our freezer so we always have plenty of ice on hand. The silicone feels durable and doesn’t take long to come out once it’s been dunked in the water

I purchased these tubs from freefloclub , to make my own ice as it it’s wayyyyu to costly to keep buying ice for my 200 ltr ice box on my boat ,,, the blocks are perfect size and easy to break up with a small hammer when I start putting Spanish Mackerel and big Reds into the ice box , I have a medium sized freezer editor making my ice and this product makes life easy with this sealable container ,, so easy to stack in freezer as well!!!!!

How Many Will I Need?
Each of our ice trays create more than a servo bag of ice each. If using for boating, camping or fishing a good guideline is to grab as many bags of ice as you typically use.
If using for cold water therapy we recommend the following:
For beginners we recommend our 'Starter Kit' which includes 3 ice trays and generates 16.5KG of ice or 'Essentials Kit' which includes 4 ice trays and generates 22kg of ice. This is a great place to build your tolerance up.
For more frequent users we recommend our 'Intermediate Kit' which uses 6 ice trays and generates 33KG of ice! This is best for those that have done a few plunges and want to drop that temp even further!
For advanced users we recommend our 'Ice Man Kit' which uses 9 ice trays and generates 49.5KG of ice. This is best for those hardcore plungers that are really keen to get that temperature down around 6 degrees. Kudos!
